A customer that comes in my store A LOT works for the Bucs and comped me 2 tickets.  With my husband just having surgery I took my daughter instead.  She already updated my myspace page with pics from the game.  We had a ton of fun!!!

I'm glad to hear it.  Things are going better for me as well.  My husband is doing VERY well after surgery and should be able to get back to work in about a month or so (thank goodness)

Thanks CK...I'm sick of struggling.  Although I did get to go to my very FIRST NFL game!!!  It was a Bucs game but I took my daughter and we had a blast!!!

I've been great, PatsFL--just really busy. Got drafted into working for the Obama campaign, and although I love campaigning and was thrilled to be involved in this one more than most, it is exhausting. Then last weekend we had the Diva Weekend--and missed you!

Dolphins fans are a classy bunch from what I witnessed.

The Dolphin fans have been humbled over the past few years, HG...it's easy to forget what winning feels like, but I think the pain of losing stays with you forever! The fans weren't as friendly to the Raider fans, however, many of them were very bitter about losing and not very nice to us.

Ahh. Well your next-door neighbors were sure friendly!!  When Maineiacgirl and I got back to the car after the game, they were offering up beers, etc... It was a happy day for Dolphins fans.

Sandy and I have been working on getting friendly with them (which isn't difficult considering they are the nicest guys in the world!)--and we had quite a time aftergating with them. We discussed us setting up next to them for the Patriot game, and they loved the idea...it is going to be quite a party...I just hope we feel up to an aftergate that game. The Dolphins have been slacking with the easier teams, so I'm wondering if they can get back up to play a really tough team.

Charles (my man with the Dolphins) told me it is going to be a full stadium. I will let you know what you need to bring when the catering nazis give me the assignments...so far they are very secretive about our foodies, but I know we are grilling.

Only way we will get our place next to the amazing tailgate guys is to go early early.

TC: I'm finding it hard to believe that you know Kwanza but not Chanukah. Chanukay is the festival of light for Jewish folks, and usually coincides with Christmas and Qwanza. It is a very joyous holiday that celebrates the finding of a vial of oil back back way back in the past, in a temple that had been desecrated...during the clean up, they thought it would give one day of light, but it burnt for a full 8 days, allowing them to restore the temple and have a place to worship while restoring the town that had been ravaged by enemies of the Jews.

We'll be grilling--and we're going to park next to that big group that does all that wonderful ribs and chicken. We did aftergate with them yesterday. They are terrific. I offered to contribute because they were so generous and they refused to accept anything. Best chicken and ribs EVER!!!!

I'm pretty sure she won't want to miss this one...we've been talking about since preseason.
